Matt Chandler serves as lead pastor of The Village Church in Highland Village, Texas. Over the past 6 years the church has witnessed a tremendous response growing from 160 people to over 5000. Matt is part of the Acts 29 group of churches across the US and is a close co-worker to our speaker last year, Mark Driscoll.
In the two morning sessions Matt will open the Bible for us. He will speak about the centrality of the cross and the word of God in Christian ministry. In the afternoon session Matt will speak about the challenges faced by evangelical Christianity in America. We will then get reflections from a few Central Coast pastors about the challenges we face.
